Lydia Sweeney

Lydia Sweeney is currently a Marketing Intern at SCARPA and a Research Assistant at UVA McIntire School of Commerce, positions held since May 2024 and August 2024, respectively. Previously, Lydia served as a Senior Associate Copy Editor, Associate Copy Editor, and Copy Editor at The Cavalier Daily from January 2022. Additional experience includes a Retail Real Estate Consulting Internship at Pedal Retail Advisors, a Business Administration Internship at First Landing Charters LLC, and a Back of House Employee role at TASTE Family of Businesses. Lydia participated as a Junior Counselor in the Norfolk Academy Leadership Lab and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and Information Technology from UVA McIntire School of Commerce, expected to graduate in May 2025. Lydia also studied at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in early 2024 and holds a High School Diploma from Norfolk Academy.
