Ellen Alemany

Ellen Alemany is the current Director at The Center for Discovery. Ellen has held various other positions in their professional career, most notably as the Chairwoman and CEO of CIT Group from April 2016 to January 2022, and as a Member of the Board of Directors for ADP from January 2012 to December 2016. Ellen Alemany has been in the professional workforce for over 30 years, working their way up from lower positions to CEO-level jobs. Ellen is an experienced leader and manager, with a proven track record in the financial services industry.

Ellen Alemany studied at the University of Bridgeport for their Bachelor's Degree. Ellen then went on to study at Fordham University for their Master's in Business Administration (M.B.A.). After working in the business world for some time, Ellen decided to return to academia and received their Doctorate of Humane Letters from Fordham University. Finally, they were awarded an honorary doctorate from Bryant University.
