Amy DeSantis is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in health policy, data science, and public health education. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Boston College and a Senior Researcher at The Center for Health Information and Analysis since August 2020, DeSantis has previously held significant roles, including Senior Research Scientist at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, Associate Research Scientist at RAND Corporation, and Visiting Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar. DeSantis possesses a strong background in study design, data analysis, and quantitative and qualitative research methods, with a focus on social determinants of health. Educational credentials include a PhD in Human Development & Social Policy from Northwestern University, an MSW in Social Work from Boston College, and a BA from Bryn Mawr College, complemented by a postdoctoral fellowship in Epidemiology at the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
