Stanton Wood possesses extensive experience in institutional development and fundraising across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Institutional Development at the Center for Victims of Torture since August 2010, Stanton has successfully led initiatives to strengthen relationships with institutional funders, while previously holding the position of Director of Institutional Relations at Prospect Park Alliance from October 2006 to August 2010. In that role, Stanton was instrumental in writing successful grant proposals and building partnerships with notable organizations, enhancing efficiency in budget management, and providing mentorship to grant writers. Earlier, Stanton directed development and marketing efforts at Urban Stages Theatre Company, focusing on fundraising proposals and individual member programs, and served as Creative Director at Zoesis Studios, where award-winning web-based projects were developed. Stanton holds a Master of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University (1994-1996).
