Gu, Xiaorong (Athena Cool) has extensive experience in education and writing, currently serving as the Dean of Jifeng Academy at Jifeng Book Store since November 2015 and as a writer for The Chairman's Bao since October 2015, specializing in leveled readings for Chinese learners. Gu has a background as a freelance writer and teacher of Chinese as a Foreign Language, delivering customized courses to a diverse international student body. Previous roles include English teacher and administrator at The Dear One Child Club, consultant and sales personnel at Oriental Culture Enterprises Co. Inc., and writer for Dupin Journal, where contributions included book reviews.
