Sean McGibney

Sean McGibney 马伟 is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education technology and language learning. Currently, Sean serves as Managing Director at Newsdle since September 2021, focusing on providing a news-based graded reader for learners of Spanish and French. Additionally, Sean co-founded and manages The Chairman's Bao, an online platform for Chinese language students, featuring over 7,500 interactive lessons. Sean holds various board and leadership roles, including Co-Founder and Marketing Director at Leeds Irish Health and Homes and Leaders in Residence at the University of Leeds. Sean's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish from the University of Leeds as well as studies at Universidad de León and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
