VP, Practice Operations at The Chartis Group

Vice President, Practice Operations Stephanie Hines is Vice President of Practice Operations for The Chartis Group’s Performance practice. She brings over 10 years of experience helping healthcare delivery organizations transform clinical, operational and financial performance. In her role, Ms. Hines leads the advancement of the firm’s performance solutions, including the care delivery capabilities and next generation clinical and operating models necessary to solve the biggest operational challenges in healthcare. She provides overall management of the practice and plays a key role in development of the practice’s intellectual property and thought leadership. She also manages the sales and marketing efforts for the practice, including scoping and staffing projects to align the firm’s expertise and capabilities with the needs of each client.

In her consulting experience, Ms. Hines has worked with leading academic medical centers and health systems to achieve their operational and strategic goals. She has managed and supported engagements in the areas of acute care transformation, care management, ambulatory access, medical group performance optimization, perioperative services redesign, funds flow and strategic partnership development.

Ms. Hines is a frequent contributor to the firm’s thought leadership agenda and has authored numerous briefs and white papers on topics related to financial improvement and performance transformation. Most recently, her focus has been on health system financial recovery in the COVID-19 era.

Before joining The Chartis Group, Ms. Hines led operations improvement initiatives in the healthcare provider, medical device, and auto, home and life insurance industries.

Ms. Hines holds a Master of Science in operational research from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Purdue University.
