Ioana Urseanu

Ioana Urseanu is an accomplished chemical engineer with extensive experience in manufacturing technology and project management. Currently serving as the Manufacturing Technology Site Leader at The Chemours Company since January 2023, Urseanu oversees process technology, engineering safety studies, sustainability initiatives, and new product introductions. Prior roles include Manager of Strategic Projects Operations and Production Manager at HG International b.v., as well as Plant Manager at DSM Coating Resins Ltd. Urseanu's career spans over two decades, beginning with research roles at the University of Amsterdam and Politehnica University of Bucharest, complemented by a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Amsterdam. Urseanu possesses a strong track record in leading cross-functional teams and implementing innovative solutions within the chemical industry.
