Jamila Patton Anderson

Jamila Patton Anderson has a strong background in communications and public relations. Jamila is currently working at The Chemours Company as the Global Internal Communications Lead. Prior to that, they worked at Bank of America as the Internal Communications and Employee Engagement specialist for the Enterprise Technology, Engineering & Capabilities group. Before that, Jamila was the Director of Communications and Public Relations at the YMCA of Delaware. Jamila also held positions at Comcast as the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications - Consumer Products and Manager, Corporate Communications - Consumer Products. Additionally, Jamila worked as the Assistant State Director of Communications at the March of Dimes and served as the Executive Director at the Youth Leadership Foundation. Jamila started their career as a Communications Specialist at Aqua America and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Temple University.

Jamila Patton Anderson holds a Master's degree in Public Relations and Marketing from Temple University, with a focus on the School of Journalism and Fox School of Business. Jamila also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Marketing from Xavier University of Louisiana. In addition to their formal education, Jamila has certifications including "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself" from LinkedIn and "Graduate of the Leadership Institute" from the YMCA of the USA (National Resource Office).
