Astrid W.

Astrid W. has a diverse range of work experience. Astrid started their career as a Defense and Foreign Policy Intern at the Cato Institute in 2022. Astrid then worked as a Pritzker Fellows Program Intern at the Institute of Politics at the University of Chicago from September 2022 to June 2023. Astrid also served as a Research Assistant at the University of Chicago from June 2023 to August 2023. Astrid has held leadership positions as well, serving as the Chief Business Officer at The Chicago Maroon starting in October 2020. Most recently, they have been a Research Supervisor at the Chicago Project on Security and Threats since June 2021. In 2023, they will join the U.S. Department of the Treasury as a Strategic Policy Intern.

Astrid W. completed their Bachelor's degree at the University of Chicago from 2020 to 2024. Astrid then pursued a Master's degree in the Committee on International Relations at the University of Chicago from 2023 to 2024.
