The Child Abuse Prevention Center's mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect. Our vision is that all children grow up safe and healthy in nurturing families and communities. The CAP Center is a national and international training, education, research and resource center dedicated to protecting children and building healthy families. 

We accomplish our mission by 
~ Implementing evidence-based practices and programs
~ Collaborating with multi-disciplinary partners
~ Providing training and technical assistance to build capacity
~ Advocating for policies to strengthen children and families and communities
