Shannon Shoemaker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Shannon began their career in 2011 as a Capstone Project Seminar participant at Nucor Steel. The following year, they worked as the Leader of the Zero Landfill Project at Frito Lay. From 2012 to 2015, Shannon served as a District Sales Leader at PepsiCo - Frito Lay, overseeing a team of 13 employees and managing sales operations, logistics, inventory, and customer service. Shannon then joined Gorgas Library as a Business Office Assistant from 2010 to 2012. In 2015, Shannon joined Children's of Alabama, where they held various roles, including Lead Applications Analyst, Pyxis Project Manager, Senior Supply Chain Analyst, Director of Inventory Management, and currently serves as the Division Director of Supply Chain Services.
Shannon Shoemaker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration with a concentration in Operations Management from The University of Alabama in 2012. Shannon also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Sam Houston State University from 2022 to 2025.
