Freddie Nickolds is an accomplished Insight and Engagement Officer at The Children's Society since February 2022, with prior experience as a Research Consultant and Research Intern at ECPAT International from September 2019 to February 2022. At ECPAT, Freddie contributed to research on child sexual exploitation, co-writing a comprehensive report on the issue in Turkey, designing multilingual surveys, and proofreading publications. Freddie's earlier experience includes a ten-week placement with the Nottinghamshire Police Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Intelligence Unit, providing hands-on involvement with victims and intelligence operations. Freddie holds an Msci in International Relations and Global Issues from the University of Nottingham and A Levels in Politics, Sociology, and History from Hills Road Sixth Form College.
