James Brown is currently serving as Program Manager for Global Portfolio and Strategy in the Meetinghouse Facilities Department at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since August 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Planning, Design and Construction at Brigham Young University - Hawaii from July 2015 to July 2019 and Director of Planning and Construction during that same period. Prior to that role, James held the position of Tenant Improvement Planner at Douglas Emmett from July 2014 to July 2015 and served as Senior Project Architect at MGA Architecture from June 2013 to May 2014. Earlier in the career, James was the Portland Region Manager at WBRC Architects & Engineers from September 2011 to June 2013. James holds an Associate of Science degree in Architecture from Bakersfield College, completed between January 1985 and January 1987.
