Michael Brickman

Michael Brickman currently serves as the Education Policy Director and Senior Fellow at The Cicero Institute since September 2023. Michael holds the position of Adjunct Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and Principal at Sheer Partners since January 2021. Previously, Michael was the Head of Operations and Compliance at Craft Education System from May 2021 to August 2023, and served as a Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary at the U.S. Department of Education between February 2017 and January 2021. Other notable roles include Senior Project Director at Luntz Global Partners, National Policy Director at The Thomas B. Fordham Institute, and Policy Advisor to Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker. Michael's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Delaware, an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, and a Certificate in Business Finance and Statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
