Icma-Cm Kiel Mangus

Kiel Mangus, ICMA-CM, currently serves as the City Manager for the City of Derby, a position held since November 2018, after previously serving as Deputy City Manager. Prior roles include Assistant City Manager for the City of Manhattan, Kansas, from July 2014 to November 2018, and Director of Public Works for the Town of Frederick from August 2012 to July 2014, where responsibilities included providing vision and leadership to the Public Works Department. Kiel began a career in municipal operations as Assistant to the CAO for the City of Goddard from December 2010 to August 2012. Kiel holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Wichita State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Kansas State University.
