Robert Denicola

Vice President, Associate General Counsel

Robert Denicola serves as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at The Clearing House since September 2025, specializing as a Senior Payments Attorney. Additionally, Robert holds the position of Co-Chair of the Payments Subcommittee for the UCC Committee of the ABA Business Law Section since September 2023. Previously, Robert worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from October 2018 to September 2025 as Assistant General Counsel and Counsel in the Financial Services, Technology, and Contracts Division. Earlier experience includes an Associate role at McGuireWoods LLP and at Latham & Watkins, where Robert contributed to various legal matters involving regulatory investigations, depositions, and securities lawsuits. Robert also has a legal background from internships at the Columbia Center for Climate Change Law, Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, Goldman Sachs, and Merrill Lynch. Robert earned a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Georgetown University.
