Rocío Latorre Ortiz

Rockie C. is an experienced Program Manager currently at Lonza, overseeing multidisciplinary project teams for clinical manufacturing of biologics and fostering global collaborations. Previously, Rockie served as a Senior Scientist and Program Lead at CareDx, Inc., where product development and automation of genomics-based diagnostics were key responsibilities, along with leading verification and validation processes. Rockie also held senior scientific roles at Senti Biosciences, acting as the technical lead for gene therapy projects, and completed postdoctoral research at the University of California, Los Angeles. Rockie's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
