Kari Bernard, PhD, PA-C, currently serves as the Program Director and Founding Director for the Doctor of Medical Science program at The College of Idaho, where a fully virtual post-professional doctorate for Physician Assistants was launched in collaboration with national PA experts. Previously, Kari held multiple roles including Staff Wellness Director at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, where a wellness program for healthcare workers was initiated, and Associate Director of Research and Capstone Activities at A.T. Still University. Additionally, Kari provided medical care as a Physician Assistant at Southcentral Foundation and Orion Behavioral Health, and contributed to the education of PA students at the University of Washington through various teaching and leadership positions. Kari earned a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Walden University and a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University.
