Jess Black

Jess Black serves as the LOCALs Program Specialist at The Communications Network, managing the LOCALs program and supporting over 80 LOCAL Leaders. Previous roles include Interim Project Manager for Kittitas Environmental Education Network, Program and Engagement Coordinator at Rural Development Initiatives, and extensive volunteer leadership at the Northwest Oregon Volunteer Administrators Association. Jess has also held positions at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication, Rahab's Sisters, and the WDS Foundation, where responsibilities ranged from program management to community engagement and strategic consulting. Educational credentials include a BA in International Studies from the University of Oregon and coursework at Portland State University and Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro.
