Katie Carroll has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations. Their most recent role was as the Director of Research and Evaluation at The Community Builders, Inc., where they worked closely with Vice Presidents of Community Life to improve evaluation strategies and track the impact of Community Life programs. Katie oversaw the evaluation of various initiatives across different cities and conducted data analysis to prepare evaluation reports and presentations. Prior to that, they served as a Data and Evaluation Manager at the same organization.

Before joining The Community Builders, Katie worked as an Evaluation Specialist at City Year for two years, where they focused on evaluating programs. Katie also worked as a Doctoral Research Assistant at Tufts Interdisciplinary Evaluation Research and America's Promise, where they conducted research and assisted in evaluation projects.

Earlier in their career, Katie held roles as an Evaluation Assistant at Roca, Inc., a Learning and Evaluation Intern at Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center, and a Graduate Research Assistant at Tufts University. Katie also gained customer service experience as a Bookseller/Barista at Barnes & Noble and served as an Apartment Living Assistant at Grand Valley State University.

Katie Carroll holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Child Development, which they obtained from Tufts University between 2013 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Child Development from the same institution, completing their studies from 2010 to 2012. Katie's education began at Grand Valley State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology between 2006 and 2009.
