Jeremy Strachan, PhD, is a Research Associate II at The Conference Board of Canada, specializing in project leadership and qualitative research across health, education, and human capital. As a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa and a contract instructor at Carleton University, Jeremy has taught various courses in musicology and ethnomusicology. Previous roles include project manager for a strategic partnership addressing Indigenous song misuse and a performer and composer with extensive touring experience. An alumnus of the University of Toronto with a PhD in Musicology, Jeremy also held positions as a Banting Postdoctoral Fellow and a postdoctoral researcher, contributing significantly to the fields of music and cultural studies.
