David J. Maundrell III is a New York real estate pioneer and visionary who began his real estate career in 1992. In 2002 David founded aptsandlofts.com, which grew to become one of the most recognized privately-owned real estate brokerage firms in all of NYC, providing residential and commercial services in all five boroughs, and ranked among the top three largest new development marketing firms by The Real Deal. In the fall of 2015, aptsandlofts.com was acquired by NRT, with Davids new role becoming Executive Vice President of Brooklyn and Queens for Citi Habitats. His vision remains to provide clients with innovative marketing campaigns, optimal pricing strategies, and a superior hands-on service. David capitalizes upon his unique expertise to win, market, lease, and sell new developments throughout New York City. He draws upon the award-winning reputation he commanded at aptsandlofts.com with over 15 years of experience in real estate brokerage. David provides exemplary skills and knowledge in his executive role. In 2008, he was named one of the 50 most influential people in Brooklyn Real Estate by Brownstoner.com, and he continues his reign as a trusted NYC market expert and leading source for industry analysis and property valuations, having marketed over 200 new development projects since 2002. hannels CNN and NY1. Additionally, hes served as a panelist and moderator for numerous real estate industry events and conferences. Over the past several years, David has worked on a diverse range on new development buildings, from condominium projects like the 120-unit Warehouse 11 at 214 North 11th Street in Williamsburg, to larger-scale rental buildings such as World Wide Groups 421-unit QLIC in Long Island City. Currently, notable projects on the rise include the Spitzer Organizations 420 Kent, a Williamsburg, Brooklyn waterfront project, and Lightstone Groups 467 unit ARC in Long Island City, Queens. David is a native of Williamsburg and lifelong Brooklyn resident who holds a Marketing degree from St. Johns University. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), is on the Board of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, and supports numerous local charities and organizations including the Red Hook Alliance, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, and other school and childrens programs in Brooklyn.
