Eliza Anyangwe

Born in Cameroon and raised in 10 countries across 3 continents, Eliza started her career in NGOs, before joining the Guardian in 2008. She’s also worked for CNN and The Bureau of Investigative Journalism, and has freelanced for many others. In 2016, she set up her own company focusing on African women’s stories called The Nzinga Effect. Eliza is a contributing author to ‘Africa’s Media Image in the 21st Century’ (2016); guest lectures at IULM in Milan, and sporadically writes a newsletter called GriotGirl.
