John Lam serves as the Co-Founder of the Culture Licensing Network, where strategic direction is provided to empower cultural entrepreneurs through authentic brand licensing. In addition to this role, John is a Representative for Europe at ARTiSTORY, Co-Founder and Design Strategist at State of Culture, and a Research Associate at the Technical University of Munich. With an extensive background in academia, John has been a Lecturer at Hochschule Macromedia since 2017. John also co-authored the book "The Authenticity Formula: Building Meaningful Brands Across Cultures," which examines authenticity as a key element in global brand trust. Other roles include Partner at Culture'N'Space, Associate Practitioner at The Culture Factor Group, and previous positions at JLL as Director of Workplace Strategy & Consulting and at Steelcase in Global Client Collaboration. John's academic credentials include a PhD in Workplace Strategy from the Technical University of Munich, a Master of Design from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a postgraduate diploma in International Management and Intercultural Communication.
