Nina Hernandez

Nina Hernandez is a seasoned communications professional with a strong background in editing, writing, and strategic communications. Currently serving as a Freelance Editor for The Daily Dot since May 2023, Nina also contributes as a Communications Consultant for the Austin Community Law Center since December 2019, focusing on internal and external communications and social media strategy. Previous roles include Copywriter at Goodwill Central Texas, where engaging content was developed to promote the organization, and Communications Manager for the Travis County Democratic Party, managing media requests and social media channels. Additional experience includes positions as a Communications Associate for the City of Austin, Staff Writer at The Austin Chronicle, and Copy Editor at Austin Monitor. Nina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin.
