Talia Duffy

Talia Duffy is currently a Research & Development Intern at Sandia National Laboratories, having transitioned from a summer intern to a year-round role since May 2024. Talia serves as a Course Assistant for STAT/CS/IS 107 and STAT 410 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where enrollment spans from January 2022 to the present. Additionally, Talia has been involved with The Daily Illini since November 2021, working as a Senior Columnist, Assistant Opinions Editor, and Columnist. A Data Journalism Intern at Investigate Midwest during the summer of 2023, Talia also gained experience as a Team Member at Noodles & Company from April 2021 to February 2022. Talia is pursuing dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Statistics and Journalism at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, expected to graduate in May 2025, and holds a high school diploma from Huntley High School.
