Richard Knight

Richard Knight is an experienced freelance writer and educator with a diverse background in journalism and teaching. Currently serving as a freelance writer for the video game section of Complex-Mag.com since April 2011, Richard contributes four articles each month, primarily focused on top ten lists. As an English teacher at Union Ave Middle School since September 2007, Richard employs project-based instruction to teach seventh graders. In addition, Richard has been writing freelance for The Daily Record since June 2006, covering local events and stories. Richard completed a fellowship at the Academy of Alternative Journalism in 2008, where articles were workshopped and published. Richard's early career includes a role in public relations at The Happy Corp in 2006. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Rutgers University and has additional education from Northwestern University.
