Mark Atkinson

Mark Atkinson serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Mursion, a company specializing in virtual reality environments for professionals to enhance interpersonal skills in high-stakes professions. As the founder of TeachForward, Atkinson collaborates with states to innovate Tier 2 licensing systems for educators. Additional leadership roles include membership on the boards of directors for the Oracle Education Foundation, The Danielson Group, The Achievement Network, Open Up Resources, and PresenceLearning. Atkinson has also contributed as a visiting scholar at Stanford University and held the position of Executive in Residence at NewSchools Venture Fund. Mark Atkinson earned a BA in History from Yale University.
