Jon Sarabia

Jon Sarabia is an experienced canine training instructor at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, serving since April 2018. In addition to this role, Jon has been a judge for both the National Association of Canine Scent Work and the American Kennel Club since 2012 and 2017, respectively. As the owner and head trainer at Amor K9 Training since 2011, Jon brings extensive expertise in canine training and scent work. Jon's prior military career spanned over 24 years in the United States Air Force, where responsibilities included security forces management, quality control, and operational oversight of military working dog teams. Jon holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Homeland Security from the University of Management and Technology, along with an Associate degree in Criminal Justice.
