Katie D'Hondt Brooks is the Director of Cyber Policy at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security since October 2024. Prior to this role, Katie served at The Aspen Institute as Director of Global Cyber Policy and Director of Cyber Partnerships from February 2022 to September 2024. Katie's experience at Booz Allen Hamilton spanned from July 2016 to January 2022, where roles included Senior Associate, Senior Lead Technologist, Associate, and Senior Consultant. Earlier career highlights include serving as Policy Analysis Exercise Partner at New America and Associate Manager, Education & Outreach at the Partnership for Public Service. Katie holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Economics, and French from the University of Michigan.
