Kirsty McDonald West

Kirsty McDonald West has over 25 years of experience in the retail and commercial sector within the arts and cultural industry. Kirsty McDonald has held various roles such as Deputy Shop Manager at the Royal Academy of Arts, Retail Manager at the British Museum Company Ltd, Retail Manager at Madame Tussauds, Head of Retail and Company Director at Westminster Abbey Enterprises Limited, and currently serves as the Head of Commercial at The Design Museum. In their current role, Kirsty is responsible for creating and implementing retail, eCommerce, and visitor experience strategies while managing budgets, projects, and a large team to ensure exceptional customer service and visitor satisfaction.

Kirsty McDonald West studied History of Art at the University of Aberdeen, achieving an MA degree.
