Steve Dunscombe

Steve Dunscombe is a seasoned UXO and EOD Technician currently employed at Milsearch Pty Ltd since March 2020. With extensive experience in training and mentoring, Steve has served as an instructor and subject matter expert in IEDD with Praedium Consulting Malta Ltd and Mine Action and Training MAT Kosovo Sh.p.K. since April 2019, and as an EOD/IEDD Mentor Instructor with The Development Initiative Limited since June 2015. As a UXO Site Manager for BACTEC since April 2014, Steve has overseen critical defense site upgrades. Previous roles include Team Leader at RONCO, where management of training and budgeting for Afghan forces was key, Senior Instructor in HUET at CareFlight Group Queensland, and Hyperbaric Technical Officer for Queensland Health. Steve holds a Diploma of Applied Science in Clearance Diving from the Royal Australian Navy, demonstrating a strong foundation in diverse technical and safety protocols within the field.
