Kate Ward has a diverse work experience in the media and publishing industry. Kate currently holds the position of Chief Content Officer at Betches Media since October 2022. Prior to that, they were the CEO & Co-Founder of The Dipp starting from January 2020. Kate has also worked as a Digital Content Consultant & Advisor for Digital Media & Publishing since June 2010.

Before joining Betches Media, Kate Ward had a significant role at Bustle Digital Group as the Founding Editor-in-Chief and Global Head of Content Strategy from April 2013 to June 2019. Kate played a key role in rebranding and relaunching efforts for Hollywood.com as the Executive Editor from March 2012 to April 2013. Kate'sresponsibilities included managing a staff of editors and writers, overseeing the site's redesign, and developing marketing, social, and editorial strategies.

During their tenure at EW.com at Entertainment Weekly, Kate worked as an Assistant News Director from March 2010 to March 2012. Kate supervised a team of writers and editors, assigned articles, and oversaw quality control for TV and movie-related content. Kate also coordinated major event coverage, such as Comic-Con, and managed video and written content for EW.com.

Before joining EW.com, Kate had various roles at Entertainment Weekly, including Correspondent from August 2009 to March 2010 and Editorial Assistant from November 2007 to August 2009. Kate wrote features, sidebars, and News + Notes stories during their time at Entertainment Weekly.

Kate's early career included internships at DeVries Public Relations and Screen Magazine in 2007. Kate also worked as a Pop Culture Columnist for PLAY Magazine in the same year.
