Mikhail Carto

Mikhail Carto has a diverse background in the hospitality and culinary fields, currently serving as a Hospitality Ambassador at The Donum Estate since August 2023. Prior to this role, Mikhail worked as an Executive Chef at Sodexo from April 2022 to July 2023 and held captain positions at both Lilia Ristorante and The Charter Oak. Additional experience includes working as a Wine Educator at Clif Family and serving as a Culinary Coordinator at The Culinary Institute of America. Mikhail's earlier roles also feature positions as Chef De Partie at both The Charter Oak and Terra Restaurant, as well as a Kitchen Assistant at The Culinary Institute of America. Mikhail holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Food Business Management from The Culinary Institute of America and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The University of Guyana.
