Niraj Kapoor

Niraj Kapoor is the current Director of Finance at The Doon School. Prior to their current position, Niraj served as the Chief Finance Officer at DIT University from October 2015 to May 2017. In this role, they were responsible for finance, accounts, projects, and purchase, including financial planning, budgeting, cash management, project financing and rating, procurement, income tax, statutory compliance, statutory and internal audit, and project and risk management. Niraj also played a crucial role in stabilizing the SAP system.

Before their time at DIT University, Niraj served as the Senior Associate Director-F&A at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies from October 2004 to September 2015. In this role, Niraj was responsible for all matters related to systems development and implementation for various policies and procedures of vendor selection, scrutinizing, and appointment. Niraj also consulted with architects to ensure that construction happened according to agreed-upon terms.
