Laura Friestad

Laura Friestad is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Director of Finance for Dorchester Collection since September 2023, Laura previously held the same title at Sage Hospitality Group from August 2022 to September 2023, and at Hotel Californian from October 2018 to August 2022. Prior roles include Assistant Director of Finance at Omni Los Angeles Hotel from April 2017 to October 2018 and Assistant Controller at Ojai Valley Inn & Spa from 2012 to April 2017. Laura began a career in finance as Credit Manager at Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort from 2006 to 2012. Laura holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Universidad de Guadalajara, earned between 2001 and 2005.
