Kendall Matsumoto is a recent graduate of Stanford University, where she earned a B.A. in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity and a B.S. with Honors in Earth Systems (climate and ocean sciences). Her academic and personal passions lie at the intersection of social equity and environmental change. She has worked extensively in the environmental justice space at the grassroots level, in non-profits, and in the federal government–including congressional offices and federal agencies. She is heading to Harvard Law School in a couple of years, where she plans to pursue public interest law. While she calls the Washington, D.C.-area and the east coast her home, she is now based out of San Francisco, CA.
