David Ye

David Ye has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. David is currently the Director of Hardware Engineering at The Drone Racing League, where they lead the Hardware Engineering and Tech Ops teams in designing racing drones and race systems. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Hardware Engineer at Clever Devices. David has also held the position of Director Electrical Engineer at Canary, where they were responsible for electronics design and development for next-generation hardware. Before that, they worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Zebra Technologies and as a Sr. Electrical Engineer at Motorola Solutions, where they were involved in the development of handheld data capture devices. David started their career as an Electrical Engineer at NAVAIR, where they worked on avionic support equipment. Throughout their career, David has collaborated with interdisciplinary teams and demonstrated expertise in analog/digital electrical design, project management, and test fixture design.

David Ye attended Baldwin Senior High School. David then went on to study at New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering from 2003 to 2007, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
