Alexandra Zeevalkink

Alexandra Zeevalkink has extensive experience in digital publishing and media industries. Alexandra is currently the Director of Digital Publishing at The Drum, where they oversee various teams and is responsible for making day-to-day decisions and future developments. Prior to this role, they worked as the Head of Digital Publishing at The Drum.

Alexandra also worked at Broadcast Intelligence as a Digital Publisher, where they held various roles and worked on multiple brands, providing essential information and industry networking opportunities. Before that, they were a Publishing Manager at Media Business Insight, where they had budget responsibilities for multiple publications and developed brand strategies.

Alexandra also worked as a Digital Content Manager and Publishing Manager at Wilmington plc, where they launched a digital news offering and managed all content published on digital media. Alexandra is also the founding editor of DocGeeks, a website that provided documentary film news and reviews. Additionally, they worked as a News Editor at Pension Funds Online and as a Freelance Writer at Noordhoff Uitgevers bv.

Alexandra started their career as an Assistant Manager at The Salisbury Hotel and worked as a Researcher at Talking Africa. Alexandra also had a brief role as a Journalist at Press Gazette. Overall, they have a strong background in digital publishing, content management, and brand strategy.

Alexandra Zeevalkink completed their Bachelor's degree in International Communications from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen. Alexandra attended this institution from 2004 to 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in International Journalism from City, University of London, which they completed in the year 2010.
