Alice Baxter

Alice Baxter is a Creative Writing and Art Tutor at York St. John University since September 2023 and has prior experience as an Assessor for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award from September 2019 to February 2024. Alice also worked as an Optical Consultant at Boots Opticians from March 2022 to December 2023, where extensive training was completed in pre-screen optical checks. As a co-founder and leader of the Student to Student Covid Relief Scheme in Bristol, Alice organized support for over 200 students during the pandemic. Leadership roles include serving as President of The Falstaff Society at the University of Bristol and representing the university as a Student Ambassador. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Fine Art from York St. John University, a Master of Arts (MA) in Poetry and Poetics from the University of York, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Literature from the University of Bristol.
