Nuriya Kapralou is a seasoned expert in macroeconomic and financial analysis, currently serving as Region Head (Russia/CIS) at Oxford Analytica since October 2010, where detailed analyses on a variety of economic issues are provided for a diverse client base including multinational corporations and government entities. In addition to this role, Nuriya contributes as an economic policy research contributor for The Economist Intelligence Unit and as a contributing writer for Nikkei Asia, focusing on Russia's economic developments. Nuriya has also worked as an independent consultant since 2010. Previous experience includes serving as an Associate in Financial Markets at ING, where structured finance transactions were managed, and as a Programme Specialist at AED, overseeing US government-funded development projects in Kazakhstan. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Finance from London Metropolitan University and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Economics and Business Administration from the American University in Bulgaria.
