Chris Ware has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Chris started their career as a Web Developer in blinkBox Entertainment, where they introduced Agile methodology and acted as a scrum master. Chris then worked as an Agile Web Developer in Financial Times and later became a Front-End Technology Lead, responsible for the development and technology strategy for mobile, tablet, and device initiatives. Chris also worked as a Technology and Product Consultant in HOOQ before joining HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management as a Global Digital Product Manager. Chris then moved to BBC Worldwide as a VP for Front End Technology and User Experience. Chris founded Evology in 2015 and became the Founder of the company. Chris also held roles in Fingermark, including CTO and Head of Innovation and Technology. Currently, Chris works as the VP Delivery (interim) at The Economist in addition to their role as a Digital CMS lead in the same company.
From 1995 to 1998, Chris Ware attended the University of Exeter and earned a BSc (1st class honours) degree in Computer Science.
