Gina Pearson

Gina Pearson has a strong background in tax and accounting, with experience in both corporate and managerial roles. Gina most recently worked as the Head of Tax at The Economist since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Global Indirect Tax Senior Manager at The Economist from June 2020 to June 2022. Before joining The Economist, Gina worked as a VAT Manager at Virgin Media from October 2016 to June 2020. Gina also gained valuable experience as a VAT Manager at JD Sports Fashion plc from April 2015 to October 2016. Gina began their career at PwC in 2007, where they worked as a Senior Associate in Indirect Tax from August 2011 to April 2015. Gina also held the role of Senior Associate Accountant at PwC from September 2007 to July 2011.

Gina Pearson attended Ilkley Grammar School from 2000 to 2005. Gina then went on to study Maths and Physics at Notre Dame Sixth Form College from 2005 to 2007.
