Hannah M. has extensive work experience in various industries. Hannah has worked as an Engineering Lead in two different roles, first at The Economist Intelligence Unit and then at The Economist. Prior to that, they co-founded a socially and environmentally responsible tropical hardwood design and manufacture company called Urtisan Limited. Hannah has also been involved with the non-profit organization Niños de Guatemala, where they served as an Executive Board Member, Head of Social Enterprise, and Social Business Manager. Earlier in their career, they worked at Trovit in roles such as Digital Product Specialist, Strategy & Growth Manager Key Markets, Content & Data Manager, and Emerging Markets Manager. Hannah also worked as a Translator at ProZ.com and held several roles at the University of Warwick, including E-squad Technical Team member, Student Caller for fundraising, and URSS Research Bursary winner.

Hannah M. holds an MSc degree in Data, Economics, and Development Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2018 to 2019. During the same period, they also pursued an MSc in Statistics and Data Science at the same institution. Prior to that, Hannah completed a BA in French & Italian Studies at the University of Warwick in 2008, with a major in Translation & Interpretation and a minor in Politics & Education. In 2017, they attended Harvard University for Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies. Currently, they are enrolled at the School Of Code since 2020, although there is no information regarding their degree or field of study there.
