Jessica Martinson has an extensive background in event management and nonprofit consulting. Jessica currently works as the Head of Custom Events, Global at The Economist, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Client Services, Custom Events, Global at the same company from December 2020 to December 2021. Jessica also has experience as a Project Management Consultant and Associate Director of Events in Asia at The Economist. Before joining The Economist, Jessica worked as a Fundraising Manager at Aaron Consulting Company, where they managed the production and execution of fundraising events. Jessica Martinson completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Global Health Studies at Northwestern University from 2007 to 2011. In 2010, they also participated in a study abroad program at Makerere University in Uganda, focusing on Public Health.
