Stevens (Bob)

Bob Stevens has a diverse work experience in the fields of smart materials and devices, bio micro and nanotechnology, and scientific research. Stevens has served as the Chief Scientific Officer at ESP Technology Ltd since November 2011. Prior to that, they were a Professor of Smart Materials and Devices at Nottingham Trent University starting from January 2011. Stevens has also held the position of Director at The Electrospinning Company Ltd since September 2008. From August 1999 to March 2012, they worked at the Science and Technology Facilities Council as the Principal Scientist for Bio Micro and Nanotechnology, where they were responsible for the invention of new technologies and their translation to industry. Before that, they worked as a Senior Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University from August 1997 to August 1999.

Bob Stevens attended Wellington School from 1977 to 1984, although no information is available regarding the specific degree or field of study pursued during this period. Later, from 1990 to 1994, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Engineering from the University of Bradford.
