Matthew Chupack

Editor In Chief at The Emory Wheel

Matthew Chupack has a diverse range of work experience. Matthew began their career as an Intern at the Sheppard Law Firm in 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at The Emory Wheel, starting as a News and Emory Life Reporter in August 2020, and progressing to Assistant News Editor, News Editor, Executive Editor, and finally Editor in Chief. In 2021, Matthew worked as an Intern at the Simon Wiesenthal Center and as a Fact Checker at South Side Weekly. Matthew also served as a Community Building & Social Change Fellow at the Center for Pan Asian Community Services from January to August 2022. Starting in September 2021, Matthew became a Research Assistant and participated in the Scholarly Inquiry and Research Experience Program at Emory University, where they assisted Dr. Jessica Lynn Stewart in their manuscript on American racial progress.

Matthew Chupack completed their high school education at Glenbrook North High School from 2016 to 2020, earning a High School Diploma. Matthew then pursued higher education at Emory University, where they are currently enrolled from 2020 to 2024. Matthew is working towards a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion & Sociology.
