Gaurav Mahamuni

Gaurav Mahamuni is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in analytics and research. Currently serving as the Manager of Data Science at The Energy Authority since April 2020, Gaurav has also held roles as Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist within the same organization. Prior to this, Gaurav contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington, developing innovative sensing technologies for air pollution toxicity estimation and mentoring students as a Teaching Assistant. Gaurav's experience includes a Data Engineering Fellowship at Insight Data Science, where a dashboard was created to analyze programming tool trends, as well as research at Washington University in St. Louis on bioreactor oxygen mixing. Gaurav's academic credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, along with a B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar.
