Game Guide at The Escape Game

Jon Siemon's work experience begins in 2020 as Secretary for the Diversity and Global Awareness Committee at Cape Fear Community College. In this role, they co-innovated new "feedback" boxes for students to provide ideas on enhancing diversity and advocated for increased resources for mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. Jon also served as Secretary for the Student Government Association, where they wrote notes and reminders for general meetings, co-hosted fundraisers, and assisted with campus-wide involvement advertisements.

In 2021, Jon joined Texas Theme Park Engineering and Design as Secretary, where they designed a weekly newsletter, updated the organization's website, and managed membership dues. Jon then took on the role of Social Chair, generating content for the organization's social media accounts, organizing events and activities for members, and managing end-of-year party logistics. Additionally, Jon served as a Scare Actor/Structural Team Member for the TxTPEG Fall 2021 Project.

In 2022, Jon worked as a Game Guide for The Escape Game, where they connected with guests, provided safety information, and reset puzzles and room decorations.

Finally, in 2023, Jon became the Internal VP at Texas Theme Park Engineering and Design. In this position, they design and leads events, represents the organization at the Cockrell School of Engineering as Cockrell Relations Chair, and organizes events during Engineer's Week.

Jon Siemon attended Topsail High School from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Jon then enrolled at Cape Fear Community College from 2019 to 2021, earning an Associate of Science degree. Currently, Jon is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, starting in 2021 and expected to complete in 2025.
